UNDP

UNDP works in about 170 countries and territories, helping to eradicate poverty, reduce inequalities and exclusion, and build resilience so countries can sustain progress. As the UN’s development agency, UNDP plays a critical role in helping countries achieve the Sustainable Development Goals.

I had the honour of working with UNDP, the United Nations Development Programme, on a series of governmental reports related to the status of energy in the Middle East and the progress being made towards sustainability. UNDP is a global organisation that aims to eradicate poverty, reduce inequality, and promote sustainable development across the world.

I worked closely with various ministries, governmental entities, and private companies in the Middle East to gather information and data on the region's energy landscape.

I conducted interviews with key stakeholders to get insights into the challenges and opportunities in the sector, and to identify the progress being made towards achieving the region's sustainability goals.

The reports were highly regarded in the industry and were used by governments, NGOs, and other organisations as a reference tool. To ensure that the reports were up-to-date and accurate, I monitored any new governmental decisions in the field of sustainability and immediately included them in the reports.

In addition to the reports, I also created a Steering Committee that brought together various stakeholders to discuss the findings and identify opportunities for collaboration.

I also developed a new magazine that focused on sustainability in the region, with a more commercial focus. The magazine was well-received by readers and helped to raise awareness of the importance of sustainability and the progress being made in the region.

Overall, I am proud to have worked with UNDP and to have contributed to the important work they are doing to promote sustainable development across the world.
